Shackleton andhis crew survived some 635 days andnights without proper shelter or rationsin some of theharshest conditions imaginable. Eventually
bysmall boat andfoot Shackleton was ableto getto safety andthen rescue his entire crew.
The Endurance isconsidered bymany expertsto be thegreatest of all adventures. Miraculously
much of theoriginal story was captured onfilm andin pictures bytheship's photographer. To make The
