A thousand years ago, the Dark Crystal which stood at the balance between good and evil was cracked and two new races came into existence – the cruel Skesis and the peaceful Mystics. Two young gelflings, Jen and Kira, set out on a heroic race against time and encountering many strange creatures and challenges to replace the missing shard from the Crystal in order to restore harmony and unity to their world.
